I am a mother progressing towards art that can be felt through multiple senses. Revisiting my childhood passion for fiber, I have found new connections to tie myself to former generations of mothers. Unlike the tiredness I felt after our first child, my hands and mind became restless with energy after having our second. I learned the importance of structure and simplicity through the chaos.

Reforming myself as a mother and person, I started transforming and expanding myself as a visual artist through the fiber medium. My artwork exists as a fragment of me, and I have struggled with its release to others. I am quiet and thoughtful, yet compelled to make a connection with you, to make you experience an emotion behind my work. Pulling inspiration from the events affecting my life, I use my art to balance my physical and emotional well-being.
