“House Finch” is part of my nest collection, inspired by birds. I attempted to embody the tender quality of these creatures into the work. Manifesting from the organic rhythm of my hands and mind uniting in the moment, each piece nested on my lap as I entwined its structure. This trio includes a large, medium, and small nest with a color palette spread across them, uniting into one, when hung together. All nests have a hand-sown hanger and signature on the back.
